Join the Found Rescue Mission

It takes a community to rewrite a story.
Whether you can give your time, open your home, or share your resources, you have the power to ensure no animal walks alone.

Whether you can give your time, open your home, or share your resources, you have the power to ensure no animal walks alone.
We know stepping into animal rescue for the first time can feel overwhelming. At Found Rescue, we make the onboarding process as seamless and supportive as possible.
Whether you want to foster a dog, bottle-feed kittens, or join our TNR trapping team, it all starts with a quick online application. Tell us a little bit about your lifestyle, your home environment, and how you want to help. There are no wrong answers—we just want to get to know you!
Once we receive your application, our volunteer team will review it and reach out within 3-business days. We’ll schedule a brief, informal chat or orientation. This isn't a high-pressure interview; it is a chance for us to answer your questions, go over our safety protocols, and make sure you feel completely confident and equipped for your role.
Once approved, the real work begins! If you are fostering, we will match you with an animal that perfectly fits your home and provide all the necessary supplies. If you are volunteering on the ground, you will shadow an experienced team member on your first TNR route, transport run, or lost pet search.

From your first application to your first rescue, we are with you every step of the way. You are never doing this alone.
Your donation directly funds the food, medical care, database fees, supplies for our active foster families, and emergency boarding.

We are always looking for dedicated volunteers to help us execute our mission in the Tucson area and beyond.
We need boots on the ground to keep our programs running smoothly.
Help us run adoption events or transport animals to and from veterinary appointments.
Help hang flyers, share on your social media lost or found pets listings, scan found pets for microchips, and monitor local lost-and-found databases.
Help us humanely trap, transport, and return community cats to keep neighborhoods healthy.
