Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) is the most humane, effective, and scientifically proven method for managing community (feral and stray) cat populations. Found Rescue is deeply committed to this proactive approach.
Instead of trapping and euthanizing healthy outdoor cats—a cycle that simply creates a "vacuum" for new cats to move in—TNR stabilizes the population. Cats are humanely trapped, brought to a veterinary clinic to be spayed or neutered, vaccinated against rabies, and "ear-tipped" (the universal sign that a cat is fixed). Finally, they are returned to their outdoor home to live out their lives peacefully.
With roots in feline rescue going back 26 years, our founder, Harold Delgado, knew early on that rescuing kittens wasn't enough; we had to address the root of the problem. Today, Found Rescue actively supports TNR efforts across our local communities. We provide resources, education, and hands-on trapping assistance to ensure our community cats are cared for.
Just $100 covers the cost of a complete TNR procedure (spay/neuter, vaccinations, and medical supplies) for one community cat.
